We Prince fans are tough creatures.

From the old schooler's who had to defend their right to watch a man in lipstick prancing around a stage in suspenders.

To the tiresome (regurgitated) questions of:

"Is he still alive?"
"Does he still make music?"
"Is it true he removed one of his ribs so he could...?"

I could go on & on.

Perhaps the worst insult I've heard was from my housemate last night, after hearing 'The Rainbow Children' title track for the first time. (Maybe not the best choice of 'breaking in' song, I guess ).

"That sounds like 'Hanky Panky'!"

WTF???!

Now I'll never listen to that song ever again without thinking of 'a good spanky'.
