1. Brian Eno
2. Bootsy Collins 3. Herbie Hancock (on acoustic piano) 4. Cassandra Wilson 5. Kate Bush (yes, I know they already have in a way, but properly.) And for fun a list of 5 who he should have worked with! 1. James Brown (in the late '80s) 2. Miles Davis (see Kate Bush) 3. Elvis (Had he lived, I just know he would have dug Prince. I mean Elvis even wore eye-shadow in the fifties! If only Prince had produced Elvis!) 4. John Lee Hooker (Deep funk. 'Nuff said.) 5. Frank Zappa (This man should have produced and arranged one Prince album! It would wipe the floor with 'Lovesexy' and 'Parade'!)

I hate to say this but.....
I don't want to see him collaborate with anyone anymore. I have found that looking forward to him working with someone has always led to disappointment. For example: We Can Funk Every Day is a Winding Road My Computer Undisputed Need I say more? I think someone summed it up long ago by saying that when you work with Prince, you get a Prince-sounding project; not necessarily a vision of your own that Prince helps you perfect. Play together live? Cool! Carlos and Stevie and Sheila -- OH MY! But let's just leave it at that. Ro

Play together live? Cool! Carlos and Stevie and Sheila -- OH MY! But let's just leave it at that. I think most of the song you mentioned are not real collaborations. "Every Day is a winding road" was not co-written buy Prince. He just sung on it in concert, if I remember correctly. These songs are only as good as the people that he proformed them with. I would like to see him with these people. 1.Raphael Sadiq. 2.Beck. 3.Quincy Jones. 4.Cold Play. 5.Jos Stone. 6.Donna Summer. 7.Taylor Dane. Okay, I know it's 7 I have up there but, I just could not stop. Isn't it ironic that I stopped at the number 7? "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Prince, in a weird sorta way, created this other persona, (the Symbol) and he had great sucess in handling all of the vibes that came with it. L Boogs, tried to run away from the "Rap/hip queen" that she created and then created something that was totally out of character for her. Now, she is running away from that. I'd love for him to stay away from the "safe" collaborations. So, with that in mind:
White Stripes Beck Bjork Bowie Foo Fighters

Steve Vai--Let Prince do beats, bass & vocals. As weird as U like.
Sly Stone--anything! Please Sly! George Clinton--for an entire album. Get Prince high--The Funk Bible The White Stripes--Teach him to be simple & raw again Beck--Show Beck how to be passionate & original. Teach Prince it's better to be uncool with cool music than cool with uncool music. Check this song out at:

Wendy & Lisa (because their chemistry is still unmatched...)
David Bowie (just because it would be interesting...) Trent Reznor (he could teach him a thing or two about production instead of Prince's usual overproduction...) Aphex Twin (for some decent professional and original remixes instead of all that corporate, dime a dozen, R&B/Hip-Hop crap remixes you hear nowadays...) Meshell Ndegeocello (because she's amazing...) Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

I an't believe she turned down Drew Barrymore's offer to play the angel that Lucy Lu played. Unbelievable. Desire, it covers our faces
