Other than that they've never made any studio recordings together. Eroticist said: James Poyser - Neo Soul extraordinaire! Nice pick. I thought Prince an ?uest did work together on a couple of projects? OH! Ok, I feels ya then. Desire, it covers our faces

Whatever happened to Maxwell? The man is great but with only 3 albums in 10 years...I'm spoiled by Prince.
Urban Hang Suite is a MUST! for Prince fans. One of my top 3 albums, it's as smooth as you can get.

And for the person who mentioned Morrissey, that would be a wet dream come true for me, but it'll probably never happen in a million years. I just don't think Moz would be interested. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

David Bowie co/writer/duet - I've been thinking this one for nearly 20 years!!
Beck - cos Midnight Vultures 2 needs to happen!! Roy Wood - co writer - they would probably produce the ultimate pop tune that you " can't get out of your head" ever! Jill Scott - imagine her singing something like Adore!! Issac Hayes - seriously funky! Todd Rundgren - The words would make us see the light And a postumous one - The late, The very great Minnie Ripperton - on a ballad or on the funk they would sound beautiful together

DJ Quik: known as the prince of compton. this multiinstrumentalist is known for his funny sexual raps. check out the tracks
"we still party" "hand in hand" "i useta know her" "pitch in on a party' or just by the album "rhythem-al-ism" if you ever come across it. TREMENDOUS. TRUST ME.

D'angelo (of course)
Robert Randolph and the Family Band ('cos they funky as hell and I'd love to hear a guitar square-off between Randolph and Prince) Ben Harper (You can really hear a Prince influence in some of his tracks, love to hear them in a live performance) Teddy Riley (my two favourite producers of all time working together) David Bowie (no need to add anything)

This is hard. I don't think many people would be right for Prince, but these *might* make it...
Anastacia (Amazing voice and lots of humbleness) Kylie Minogue Lenny Kravitz (whenever I hear Peach I think they'd make something fun and rock'n'roll) Savage Garden (the way they used to be during ther first album) Sade

George Michael - A fast, funky song
Maxwell - A soulfull ballad, those 2 voices together... Michael Jackson - Something like 'The Girl Is Mine' would be great! ,Prince, I think I told you, I'm a lover not a fighter.' Musiq - Prince playing the instruments like the 'It Ain't Over Aftershow'. Stevie Wonder - So What The Fuss was great, more of that. [Edited 5/5/05 7:05am]

Only have one Artist... Teena Marie -
They come from the same place where they are both familiar with music and song - Most likely more of a live recording as opposed to a studio recording.. I honestly feel you really have to be under,in awe of, or super humble to get his best - Being that it's such an intimate process with Prince I doubt a true collaboration would benefit the speakers. I love the We can Funk Collaboration, but I don't beleive them to be sharing studio space.. just sending it. Erotic City - is a Prince song- with Sheila being guided on vocals.. I thought Maybe Your Baby was beautiful, again live uncontrolled enviornment..just artist speaking to another artist with no restraints
