Last Heart, it says he recorded this as a demo and never got around to finishing it. Honestly one of my favorite songs. Anyone know who he's singing this about? This song is so dead on...wish he would have released this. Total Prince and dead on with his emotions breaking through the song. You can tell whom ever she was, she broke his heart...I never get tired of this gem.

Best part about this track is the slap guitar. The bassline is actually much more conventional while the percussive sound is real Prince on guitar.

My initial copy was on the bootleg crystal ball/black album with tape hiss and a slight skip. still like that version better than the one on the released Crystal ball.

I think it's a bass guitar with a lot of treble and not much bass in the mix. Like on The Ballad of Dorothy Parker.
