Refresh my memory on Prince and Miles Davis

Sticky Wicked

Can I Play With You

A Paisley Park performance in 87

Wasn't there some tracks on a Miles Davis box set too?

Anything else?

Well, there's nothing more I can think of.
For awhile, some may have thought there was all kinds of material they did together, but it seems as though that was a myth that was de-mystified. I kinda remember a quote from Alan Leeds saying that "Can I Play With You" was really the only tune that the two of them got together on.

there are a couple of miles davis recordings of prince songs floating around. "penetration" and "movie star" - i think they are boots, never officially released, but the sound on them is very good.

Oh yeah! Is Penetration on Madhouse 24? I have that on tape somewhere. No, that's probably not the Miles Davis version.

Cool, thanks! Ok, how about this: Is the Paisley Park show in 87 the only time they performed together?

Well, here's the thing...from what I've read is that Miles and Prince actually never recorded TOGETHER...Prince sent tracks to Miles and asked Miles to add his horns...some say he did, some he didn't add his horns. BUT, the concensus is, is that Atlanta Bliss is the horn behind most of what you hear on the Crystal Ball stuff, not Miles as had been reported.
Desire, it covers our faces
It happens in curious places
Your body, it covers my tower
Ecstasy is ours
