The New York Post's gossip page sometimes runs a "Just asking" column, which features "blind items", in other words, they leave you to guess who they are writing about.

From today, May 2nd:

"Which diminutive rock star isn't so faithful to his wife? While she keeps the home fires burning, he's out being bad with an exotic woman."

So let's guess who else it could be...

Paul Simon is really short, and married...but an exotic woman? Guess it's possible.

The New York Post probably think Prince is still married to Mayte and the exotic woman is Mani!

I remember for a long time the press didn't know who Mani was and kept referring to her as an unidentified woman when they were photographed together.

There are many "diminutive" rock stars out there, so this goofy little blurb could be about any of a bunch of people (if it's even true).

and of course there's a whole host of "rock stars" out there that are big names that I don't know enough about to know their height.

(These sort of gossip blind items usually contain clues in them im the wording as to whom they are referencing, so maybe the terms "home fires burning", or "being bad", or even the deliberately used word "exotic" has more signifigance than just a description.)

Well I like Mani, and I hope they stay together - at least long enough to produce a baby.

My first guess was Prince and my second was John Mellencamp. I just just saw John's show last month so he was on my mind. John is married to supermodel Elaine "Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful" Irwin and they have 2 sons.

I HOPE it's neither one - I'd be disappointed in them both.
