I mean, some have said Camille is in the TRC? So I'm asking, is it the sound of the music, or the words which R said. U dig?

Why do you think Camille was on TRC?
Camille was just the character from a project or two in 1986 (the Camille album obviously, and the movie). Prince then turned Camille into something else when he was the lead in Graffiti Bridge (original), and then into the whole Black Album/Lovesexy thing as told in the Lovesexy Tour. Prince's use of different speed vocals since has nothing to do with the original character - whether Prince considered something like 'Come On' to be a Camille track is entirely unknown, but it's not officially so (i.e. it's not stated on any release). It depends which line of thought you follow as to what is cannon - but I personally consider all officially releases acredited to 'Camille' (or tracks once part of the Camille LP) to be the ONLY Camille tracks, and any other track using any voice speeding/slowing techniques are just that. So IMO, the only official Camille tracks are those that made up the LP, U Got The Look and Scarlet Pussy. If you expand your thought to include stuff like Dream Factory, Love or $, Partyman or Bob George, well that's a collection of tracks with vocal techniques, but I don't consider them official Camille tracks, although it could be argued any track that came *after* Prince came up with the idea of the character Camille that uses these techniques and similar vocals and lyrical themes could be considered 'unofficial' Camille tracks - namely, the Black Album (since Camille is on it any way officially on one track) - and things like Partyman, and Sex. I certainly don't think TRC has any Camille on it, as in the character - Camille is too cool to mess with that JW drivel. Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

yeah, didn't 'spooky electric' bring Camille's demise? what they heck, all them folks are still rambling around inside Prince...but didn't he himself say "Prince is muerto!" (Prince is dead for the non-Spanish speaking) guess like Aura and the rest = these folk die and yet never go away...boy, do i know how that is! having to change your identity ever 50 years or so, keep moving so nobody ya met see's that ya don't age...opps, am i telling too much here? the life of an immortal! ah highlander whats the 'saved' thing about, like everybody lookin for Jesus and he ain't never been lost! Camille moved to West Hell anyway, she got peeps there Death is my friend its useless to pretend. Death can find anyone, anywhere, anytime, can give or take as the Creator assigns. whether ostracized or embraced i'm here to tell you Death can take me any place!

The Agreement -
