Something to do with the Sacrifice of Victor vid and a very ugly pic of him in the gallery. Anyone? Boris? Don't hurt me, I'm a newb. I'm supposed to be stupid.

THE best version of "The Ride" ever performed. Too bad this version didn't make it on Crystal Ball.

It was the aftershow of the last concert of the Act II tour - The show ended with Prince being 'laid to rest', wrapped in cloth and carried off stage, at Wembley Arena. This was his first performance as Don't worry, I can't get pregnant - my ovaries are diseased......

Not sure if this is what you mean, but...
The security measures at Bagleys were chaotic - rumours that tickets were being re-sold by the security team, and the place was packed to dangerous levels. Prince wasn't happy with things and (I believe) threatened to not perform. As to the performance - I think it's pretty damn good - however, out of a 14 song setlist, The Steeles/Mavis Staples took centre stage for 6 numbers, and of course the horror that is Tony M and Call The Law was in full force, so half of the performance was Prince as part of the backing band. It's a very guitar driven set by Prince, with some superb playing. Mayte stage dives during Peach, and it appears that Prince is pissed off with her, (although it's probably part of the act) and smashes his guitar down and drags her off stage to end the gig. The official released video The Sacrifice of Victor was heavily edited, and features even less of Prince. Full Setlist The Ride Poor Goo Honky Tonk Women (cut short) Bambi Jailhouse Rock The Undertaker (Mavis Staples) I'll Take You There (Mavis Staples) Well Done (The Steeles) Heart in My Hand (The Steeles) Power (The Steeles) Call The Law House in Order (Mavis Staples) Come Endorphinmachine Peach [Edited 4/30/05 1:11am] All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -

not alot - I was there with a mate and we were stuck in a packed room, standing with my heels on discarded bottles, to see over the crowd for about 3 hours prior to Prince coming on stage at about 3am, he then let the Steeles and just about everyone else play - rather than himself. as an aftershow disaapointing. comes across better on the Sacrifice of Victor video than it did in real life. finished around 5am. the only thinsg of note are that it was his 3rd performace within 24 hours (BBC radio 1 and the wembly arena shows proceeding it) and it was the last performance as Prince before the symbol period

I would never repeat that evening again even if I was given the chance to.
To be frank, before he hit the stage it was starting to get a little scary - and i'm really not exagerating.

Well, I thought I'd post 'em seen as I spend a lot of my time putting them up there - that's the idea, to use 'em. I'll scan what I have left from Bagley's later - think I have a flyer or something buried away somewhere...
