P2P Sharing Decrease Value?

Do you think that with all the "illegal" p2p sharing of P's music that the value you feel for the music is deminishing? Back when you had to look through Goldmine, record sores and even E-Bay for rare Prince tracks, there was a feeling that you had obtained something of value. Nowadays, people can get all this stuff with one click of the mouse.
By the time a new Crystal Ball sees the light, everyone will already have it, although much in low quality, and will not bother to buy it. Why buy it because in a few weeks it'll be on some bit torrent for grabs?
I'm just remebering back in the days the feeling of getting something like "Chocolate Box" on linyl and how those days are gone thanks to our binary companions. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
