I think I'll merely agree with you, I sure ain't gonna fight: I love this song, and I'm looking forward to the pending arrival of my tracked copy of Lovesexy, then I'll be able to listen to it over and over if I so desire!!

i am SO fucking with you right there man. On my way home from work i was singing the song in my damn head. I love it TOO damn much. Some days i'll put it on repeat ALL DAY. and won't get tired of it. I don't know what it is about that song. I think it's his best ever. I mean, P has some brilliant shit out, but this sounds like he REALLY outdid his self. I wonder if he listened to it the first time and was like "DAMN." cause that's how i was. I'm playing it right now as a matter of fact. I get chills everytime i hear the beginning guitar riff. I want to marry this song and have its babies.

lovesexy's one of my favourite albums.

this song's my least favourite on the album tho'. It's a bit drab.

but the latter stages of alphabet street & glam slam drag the album down a wee bit for me. they are the two parts which keep the album from being flawless, imo.

i even rate dance on over glam slam.

I don't know if it's Prince or the Dr., but that synth solo in the second half is the best Prince keyboard moment EVER!!!!

i like endorphinemachine very much, but prefer an earlier, unreleased version. Similarly, i prefer the earlier 'beautiful experience' version of now. the album version is okay. graffiti bridge is a pretty tune, but lyrically abysmal.

Glam Slam is another one of those songs that is better live. I don't mind sparse production, but it needs to be funky to work.
I think Lovesexy and Positivy are my favs, from one of my fav albums.

Glam Slam, one of his best pop-melodies ever by Prince. And i love the baroque orchestration and the worldmusic-type of percussion he uses on this song.

One minor point of critism: It would have been ever better when he had used real strings on the song (clare fischer, anyone?)...

I've always liked Glam Slam. It's a feel-good song for me and you can never get tired of those, especially from Lovesexy alone.
