That's all i can get from it. Sounds like a fake to me.

Indeed that's a line from a song called "Sex". But it's by a different "Prince" altogether. That song happens to be the last track on Adam And The Ants' album Prince Charming. Back in the day SEX was an unheard - exciting B side. B sides were my favorite songs to listen too. Brand new and and un-expected. However by the time this one came out, George Michael had already had the smash - I Want Your Sex, and AIDS was scaring everyone. The former Prince Sexual Revolution we knew from songs like "Erotic City" was already over and almost taboo because of the AIDS scare. George Michael had established Monagamy in I Want Your Sex. For a while there songs talking about Sex had a stigma attached. SEX was the first B side that didn't measure up to all the previous ones. It sounded like it had been done before, except much better. | |

But wasn't "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" a 1982 UK hit for Nylon? There have been several versions of that song, the earliest perhaps dating back to 1961. The only thing it has in common with Adam And The Ants is the fact that it also charted in 82, along with the Prince Charming album.
