What? What? /Oh! {x3} /U in trouble now! /Mike, turn this shit up! /Aw yeah! /(Let me work that fat) {x2} /Told U U should... /Shut up! Sit down! /Got sho'nuff plenty nerve /(What, what?) /(Let me work that fat) {x2} /Ha ha ha...! /Damn, is this where U live? /How many food stamps did U have 2 give 2 get this palace? /Yeah, this is really nice /I betcha my thigh ain't as big as one of these mice /What kind of traps U use? /I know they don't work /Mice take the cheese and say, "D-d-damn, what a jerk!" /U must be nuts - think I'm go'n sleep here /Quiet as it's kept /There's several things 2 fear in this habitat /Let me guess, let me guess /"U like it like that" {x2} /So nobody'll rob ya /Well, as a matter of fact who is this brother? /
What's he doing in your bed? /Wake up, brother, 'fore I take this new 9 and tap U on your head! /No no, she's my girl - every last mile /Now I suggest U start explaining /Before I slap that smile in the living room /U got a lotta nerve /Why don't U get your clothes /And introduce your silly ass 2 the curb? /Damn, I shoulda known /Treat a lady wrong, she'll do U the same /Can I use your phone? /I wanna call Mike /Mike, gimme another solo /I'm through with these fat girls /They know they fine /They pop U out every time /Know what, U know what? /If I see your boyfriend outside /I'm go'n hit him with the car /That's right /Oh! /Fat girls /Let me work that fat

What CD is this from? And Wedding fest?
[Edited 4/30/05 0:13am]

Work That Fat is an outtake from the early 90's.
Wedding Feast is on the Rainbow Children

To be honest, i find most Princes 'clowning' songs very weak.... I mean, i think in real life he sometimes feels the need to be a cool, smartass Morris Day kind of person.... but he just isnt like that, he's to sensitive and (dont bash me) to feminin for that....

Looking back on his career i think Prince was often jaloues of Morris day, and his easy going, cool persona (created or not)...I always did consider that a cheap move of him....I think that in his heart Prince is an insecure, searching person (and i truelly dont condemn that, i like pure persons), but from time to time he did bring up this cool, slick persona that ultimately doesnt suit him....

In the end Morris was way too busy snorting the white lines from the table, and Prince was / is losing his soul to the JW-movement.....I hope they both come out as a 'better' / wiser person....

-----

Actually, Mo'iss is Prince's alter-ego. What you see of Morris was basically dreamt up from Prince's head. So I wouldn't say he was jealous, cuz it was Prince's creation.

-----
It is a trip that people don't see that the Morris character is a little bit of Prince.

I think, originally Prince was quite a shy, thoughtfull, reserved person in public...and he did use the Time, and Morris day, as a way to express some more bravado, coolness.... well, 'use' might sound a bit too chargated, but Morris was probably, from origin, a more outgoing, extravert person.. and the early Prince probably wished he was more like that....

I read an interesting article about a journalist visiting Prince and his following during the 1999-tour. Princes band, the Time and Vanity 6 were sitting together in some fast-dinner restaurant at one table, making fun, making noise..... while Prince was sitting by himselve at another table, reserved, more introvert...

I really think Prince is by origin a shy fellow, a thinker, having troubles with showing much of himselve in public....But he did use his music to show different aspects of himselve.....the fight with his inner demons (childabuse, shyness), the wish to be as cool and extravert as someone like Morris Day, his longing for the carnal (lust) and at the same time his understanding that lust doesnt lift you higher (his queste for spiritual freedom)

Well, members of the Revolution say that P always hung out with The Time and he was a lot more extrovered around them.

Exactly. P even said it himself that he created "The Mo'iss ego" cuz he wishes he coulda been the cool cat in high school, much like his brother was. So he came up with this character and within that character, he could be the PUBLIC pimp/gigolo persona he was always too shy to achieve.
