To be honest, i find most Princes 'clowning' songs very weak.... I mean, i think in real life he sometimes feels the need to be a cool, smartass Morris Day kind of person.... but he just isnt like that, he's to sensitive and (dont bash me) to feminin for that....

Looking back on his career i think Prince was often jaloues of Morris day, and his easy going, cool persona (created or not)...I always did consider that a cheap move of him....I think that in his heart Prince is an insecure, searching person (and i truelly dont condemn that, i like pure persons), but from time to time he did bring up this cool, slick persona that ultimately doesnt suit him....

In the end Morris was way too busy snorting the white lines from the table, and Prince was / is losing his soul to the JW-movement.....I hope they both come out as a 'better' / wiser person....

Actually, Mo'iss is Prince's alter-ego. What you see of Morris was basically dreamt up from Prince's head. So I wouldn't say he was jealous, cuz it was Prince's creation.
