Paris soundcheck ONA tour - SICK! Prince sings "Sweet Baby" from to the music of "Xenophobia" - how killer is that? This whole recording is off the hook - and the sound is superb. Anyone else heard this? I'm flippin out here... Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

Yup - I agree - I have a copy and the sound quality is rude, really good, and what a start. Check Disc 5 of the entire night, ends with the jazziest free-est version of Housequake ever, what a gig. And I was in Paris for the Zenith actual show that night and it far outweighed the London shows (I am from London).
What was P and the band on that night, what a soundchekc, gig and aftershow, awesome, and so so much brilliant music, they must have been shattered after that lot! Cool!

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Isn't that the same recording where he covers some shakira lines?

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Isn't that the same recording where he covers some shakira lines? yes, that's the one. that prince - his soundchecks are vastly superior to most artist's well-rehearsed studio and live work. i always thought Paris and Oberhausen would make a terrific 2-CD set. definitely the best, most entertaining, and best-sounding soundchecks of the tour. True, although they were not "real" soundchecks in the sense that they were made into a sort of pre-show for musicclub members, meaning Prince was probabaly more advertedly making them sound like rehearsal-shows. Soundchecks form other tours sound a lot more, well, like soundchecks Although pretty cool still
