I found part of a clip on Ares from 1983 in whihc James Brown and his band find out that Michael Jackson happens to be in the audience. He gets up there and sings a bit. Then after some whispering, they find out that Prince is in the audience. James Brown calls for him and after a while it seems like someone's approaching the stage, but then it cuts off(dammit!).

Does anyone have information on this? Like where was it? Why was it?

I don't know what where or how, but I have the video file, and it seems like Prince is very high. He even falls off stage at the end, when he tries to hold on to a pole to hold himself, but the pole isn't bolted to anything and they both fall off stage.

I think Housequake.com still has it up. Prince finally gets up there and they strap a guitar on him that's way too big and he humps it a little bit. But the funniest thing is when he leaving the stage. He grabs a light pole or something that he thinks is sucured, but it's not and he knocks it over. Not his best night. Oh, sorry if I ruined the ending for you.

Thanks for telling me, cuz I tried downloading it from housequake and it didn't work, so I had to settle for this shitty clip I found on Ares. Even MJ seemed to be acting a bit strangely for him in 1983.

If I had a dollar for every time this has been posted on the org, I can by myself 60GB Ipod photo.
