It seems i have a lot of inspiration 2day. Here's another topic. If Prince were to put 2gether a coveralbum, what songs would have 2b on it according 2 you? here's my tracklist. PS: i know prince doesn't need to cover any songs, his songs are doin just fine but let's suppose 4 a minute...anyway.

live? i could name a few...but on record, i've never taken to any of his covers. The only one so far that even comes close is Mayte's version of Brickhouse with P in the background. Cool cover, but i would rather he sing his own songs.

I think it would be interesting to hear or at least to imagine what it would sound like if Prince did some covers of music that he usually does not do (or at least very seldom).
I'm curious how Prince would sound like doing some Meat Loaf ... I know that strange but why not?
