How much do you think Prince makes during a gig?

$10,000? $20,000? $50,000? more?


hmmm I've always been curious about that.

I think that he mentioned $500,000 per gig for Musicology.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I don't know how generous Prince is these days, but Mark Brown stated back in 88 or so that he was paid about 1/3 of what a touring musician would expect to make during his time in the revolution. However, I assume he would have been paid a yearly salary to retain his constant availability, as opposed to a touring bassist who would only be paid for the duration of the tour.
