i was in a local megastore & it had SOTT dvd that i want, but i only want the new one released on amazon.ca since everyone says its the best.
well i saw it at the store but was in a mad rush for appointment & didn't get a chnce to check it out...now i just need some info so i can confirm its the Canadian release.
i did notice it was 5.1 dolby digital & i just called them up now to confirm that & that it was released in 2004, the lady on phone said she couldn't see or work out which country it had came from.
so my question is, could it be possible this is the canadian release & also wat i should look for to confirm it is before i buy it then get cut when i realise i'm still gonna ghave to order over amazon.ca anyway.

in the extreme bottom right hand corner of the back it has the alliance atlantis symbol - the canadian company that released it.

The Canadian version has SOTT movie poster artwork on the front. The cruddy Brazilian version will have a Purple Rain era photo and look pretty much like a bootleg.

This version is sped-up (5% too fast), and has loads of video distubances (little light dots).

The Brazilian version has the right speed and no disturbances ....
but the image is way too dark and the sound-quality is poor.
Still, I prefer the Brazilian version to the Dutch version.
Mainly, because I can't watch the sped-up version (especially the parts that are already sped up by Prince like It's gonna be a beautiful night)

I haven't bought the Canadian version .... this concert-movie isn't a highlight in Prince's career (it's a f*ckin' fake), and I've spend too much money on it anyway

you can see the mountain like "a" on the very bottom right - the symbol for alliance atlantis - this is the real deal



but this is only encoded for region one (us and canada) so i would be surprised if it was in australia - unless there has been another release???


go get it if you can!!! the 11 minutes funky jam of Forever in My Life is worth it alone!

emm i saw it again today & i worked out it was the Dutch release...that sux

but i didn't leave empty handed i bought 'Around the World in a Day'

i'll just wait til Chappelles Show season 2 is released & i'll buy it & SOTT at same time from Amazon
