If all things & people considered were exactly the same as 20 years ago - YEAH, REFORM THE DAMN REVOLUTION!
Sadly, time has marched on and if a Revolution reunion were to happen now I fear it would only serve to shatter a lot of happy memories and illusions of the past. Dreaming is good, though! | |

Yeah and people bitched about how "old" Wendy looked. The Revolution is by no means Prince's best band. Thay are highly regarded because of the massive nostalgia that goes with the Purple Rain era. "New Power slide...." |

I have to disagree just a little. I agree that the whole Revolution should not be reformed, but this is my dream band: Prince Wendy Lisa Rhonda John Renato Candy Greg Maceo Mike While I would love an excuse to bring someone like Sheila E back, I can't possibly get rid of tha masta John Blackwell. So to keep the band tight and not extraneous, sometimes we gots ta make sacrifices! (I would have even put someone else in for Lisa MAYBE... but we probably won't be seeing Wendy without her) Starrfighter |
