The legacy label specialises in budget releases.. sony recently re-released maxwells fabulous 'urban hang suite' on the legacy label for a mesely price of £5.99.... i guess they're just doing the same for the two prince titles

the 1999 thing is just a boring remix single. even rosie gaines annoyed me on that one, and i usually like her.

aside from slagging off the albums, it will be interesting to see if these releases get much promotion, even through the npgmc, or if they will just be released on the hush as prince does not want albums he owns the masters to being out of print.

i'm sure he must know he wasn't coming from a good headspace with this stuff, and its not his best material, so i'm not sure he'll want to push it, but then, in that case, why even bother? so i expect at least through the npgmc we'll see 'em.
