Dont by the black album im sorry

I saw alphabet ST on rage last night. after watching it on tape today i could not find the split second message(appears on the screen for a split second:
) in the video.

I had the VCR on slow motion, so has anyone else seen this message before (with techincal helping)

i found this on an easter egg site http://www.eeggs.com/items/3652.html

n the video of the song alphabet street Prince lifts a transparent walking cane. When the cane is fully 'erect' you can see the words 'Don't buy the Black Album' on it.
This as a statement against the bootlegging that was going on after holding back the album in december 1987.
