What year in Prince's career did you think he had the coolest clothes/hair/fashion sense???

I'm going with 1982 even thought I thought he looked sexiest in the GB years there was something about the purple trench coat, curly poofy hair, black eyeliner, button down pants that I don't know that was SO COOL!!!

best hair years: late '79-early '80.

best fashion period overall: '80 thru '82.

2005? My boyfriend was saying how he needs a new look. When he saw him at the NAACP awards he said he was looking a bit "grinch who stole christmas"

His best fashion years?, in this particular order:

1) Sign of the Times (the glasses, the sometimes Hendrixlike, sometimes Lennonlike look)

2) A tie: the suit-wearing areas of 1986 and 2004-2005: classy, not to outreagous

3) Some of the suits he did wear during the lovesexy area, combined with that long, 'jezus-like' hair (i rather forget those promopics with him wearing suspenders and too much make up)

Ik like those years because he looked the most heterosexuel during that periods..
