Partyman starts to bore me after a while. Prettyman is funny, so it wins.

Partyman video version is far superior to Album version Prettyman, but the live versions of Prettyman (Live as in TV show appearances NOT concerts) are far superior to the album verion of Partyman! nod

That's the live performance I was referring to. I was dissapointed after how great the studio version is. Are there any other live versions of this song? smile

I got a clip of prince in UK, starting off with "Pretty man" then going into "alphabet street" that rocked!

The septimo Performance was performed in spain, it was on TV in usa and UK???

he sang (not in order) :
Everyday people
Motherless child (which is amazing)
Pretty man (funky)
Baby knows
The jam

Septimo TV performance - Madrid, Spain (22nd November, 1999)

aaaaah - no, definitely a different performance.

just found it - "The Apocalypse Tube" - went live on November 20, 1999 on Sky One.

Now i'm pretty sure he played Prettyman, but haven't watched it for a while.

Partyman. That was such a fun song and the video was kick ass. I need to listen to Prettyman again because the song doesn't do anything for me. It's funny but that's it.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
