There are two official DVD releases and one "sort of" official release.
The "sort of" official release is a Brazillian import which is a dark and crappy transfer from a video. In most countries this would be considered a bootleg, but for some loop-hole law that they have in Brazil, technically it's legal. There is also a European DVD that came out mid last year. It's not bad, but again, it's a transfer from a video (albeit a good tranfer) and it's in 5.1. Thirdly, there is the Canadian release that came out late last year that is by far the best. It's been remastered and the picture quality is nothing short of superb (I'd never seen SOTT so colourful!!). It's also in 5.1 Digital Surround. The canadian dvd is the only official release that was done by professional standards, the others are bootleg quality. The canadian dvd plays fine on my US player... they even have a two track stereo remaster for people who only like stereo as opposed to 5.1
the picture quality is tops! My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
