of the Prince covers I've heard thats the one thats the biggest departure from the original , when I first heard it I didnt even realise it WAS "When Doves Cry" , I just heard this slow jam and gradually realised it had the same lyrics , was like , this guys ripped off Prince here ! I can't say I liked it though , the best covers I think are the obvious ones , Chaka's "I feel 4 U" , Sinead's "Nothing Compares 2 U" , I do like Cyndi Lauper's "When You Were Mine" also.
