Help make a track list for a wedding!

I know someone was talking about this not too long ago but what would be good p songs to play at a wedding reception. What should be the first dance, slow songs, and "party" songs. It's hard to brainstorm this by myself anyone got ideas?

I recently made CDs for a wedding and here was what I used:

A Case Of U (on the dinner mix)
Kiss
Courtin Time (mixed in with some big band songs)
Computer Blue (I cut off some of the end)
DMSR

I also like playing 7 at weddings, but I chose not to put it on this set of CDs

hmmm I feel like I'm forgetting a few tracks hmmm

I've always thought "Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother/Wife" was a perfect wedding song. Maybe even a first dance song 4 the reception.

Forget Prince songs....

How about Superman by Black Lace?

Featuring classic lines like "Comb your hair" and "SPRAY!"

A party is never complete without it.

Go on, flame me, you know you want to.

My husband and I got married June 6, 1998.
At the reception, we played "Forever in my Life" as our song, 1987 was the year we met. mushy
But it was a toss up between, Soul Sanctuary and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.
I would think that those three would be nice to play at the wedding.

When I got married, I used Aboretum at the signing of the registers. I had a karma sutra/Xpectation mix in the background behind the meal. I didn't feel I wanted princes voice gate crashing the ceremony.

My wife picked the slow song (non prince), but I got to pick the first fast song.

You should have seen everyones faces when the dance remix of "Head" came on. I thing I got away with it, afterall, it is based around a wedding!

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
