God, work & sex are drugs, his recent albums have been both great & boring, and he's divorced himself from his old image, so...what was the question again? Check this song out at:

Would you accept Prince being unhappy and in a state of emotional turmoil if it meant all his future albums were regarded as being as brilliant as his best 80's stuff? The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

i personally would prefer 80s and early 90s Prince. without the drugs, but he wouldn't be Rev. Prince. that's kinda annoying to me. He'd be the raunchy Prince. i don't wish to see him strung out on anything. and yes, i am stuck in the 80s. (90's blew) But to be honest and answer the question, his music is what matters most to me. this may sound selfish, but i'd rather have the druggie Prince. i am still conflicted. so the top is my ultimate scenario that i would like to have. Well, I just made this topic for the hell of it to see what ppl would say, but I would personally rather he be happy.
I respect and admire the guy too much to fully enjoy any new brilliant album of his if he's really, really fucked up at the time that I'm listening to it. He's done enough, he deserves to be happy. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
