i lost my job after going 2 see prince@ clubLIFE
i was working overnight shift, and told my boss I would be late bcuz i was going 2 see prince, this dude prince doesnt come onstage till 3am, and they finished up around 630 7am,i call job back they tell me dont come in everagain.. WOW.. thanks prince i needed that so2 answer the question. yes at one point prince was my life ate shitted breathed and slept prince.... You feel pretty much the same way I do with Prince. Go easy on Gold319. He has his way of doing things and we should respect that. I've spent a couple of years not being able to listen to any of his music before (long story) and in the end I'm glad that happened because it made me more appreciative of his work when I was able to hear it again. That's why taking a break from the music can be a good thing sometimes but I'm glad it's there when I want to play it. I hope that makes sense. It does! Prince isn't my life, but he has been a very special part of my life for 25 years. When I say that Prince has been there for me, I really do mean just that! Not only through his music but the man himself. Prince has always inspired me. I learned to believe in myself no matter what, from Prince! I learned that it was a good thing to do what I felt was right for me, damn what anybody else thought about it, from Prince! I learned and I learned well, from the examples he set and the priviledge of going along on the journey. I will forever be indebted to him. Prince has in a special way touched the life of every single person that comes here! Whether they admit to it or not! | |

Have u read any of the posts by other females on here?? By the way they post they sound worse than me!!!! They all sound as if they have either slept with Prince or feel as though Prince wants 2 sex them up!!!! They all sound like immature teeny groupies  I am not like that!!! Prince is not my life but I just consider him a hobby. Listing to Prince, dancing to Prince, workout out to Prince, reading about Prince, viewing preformances of Prince, collect Prince stuff. It is just a fantasy/hobby for me. I really find it no diffrent that someone being a Timberwolves fan or reading about history. I see nothing wrong with it. Everyone has there interests and if Prince makes you happy like he makes me happy than I don't see it as someone's life. At least Prince teaches people about good things like spirtuality and God, although I have to say I am a little dissapointed in him as of late....just don't agree with his views but I love his music non the less... | |

4hrs of prince on dvd and cd without a break yesterday, and i always play his stuff in the salon at least twice a day,the staff understand my need for this fully.always in the car,always on the stereo at home and i buy all my friends his new releases as presents so i have people to discuss it with, yes he is my life yes i am obsessed | |
