Its kinda sad,but I once new a person who was kinda feeling blue.He wanted 2 take his own life but he said the only thing that stoped him was that if he did he wouldnt be able 2 hear the new prince album that would cum out next year.Thanx Prince 4 puting out an album every year!How many of u who have been touched in a special way by prince and his music.How many of u can connect with him & his music as if u are soulmates?That u feel a bond with him thats deep in ur soul that could never be broke,u will always be there 2 support him no matter what!Even tho he can be a jerk sometimes we all have that unconditional love 4 him,he makes us happy theres nothing like the feeling one get when u listen 2 a brand new prince album, its a special moment u never 4 get.Prince is the most talented singer, musician in the World! Sadly I did make Prince my whole life!! I ate, drank, slept, breathed and LIVED Prince 24/7!! . So much so, that it virtually ruined my life, so much so that one of the reasons(and I know I am gonna get slagged for this by certain people on here big time!!) I find it hard 2 get a job cos I just dont wanna work with a whole bunch of idiots who I could never talk about Prince with and who will view me as a total headcase!!!!

I even have his music going through my brain 24/7 as well!!

i wouldn't call him my life, persay (that's going a bit far) but there are certainly many days when the only thing that makes me happy is listening to some of his music. it's the best natural high there is.

Prince's music has the ability to make you feel very close to him. The fact that he's still pretty much together and still jamming makes a fan feel even closer to him. It is almost like having a friend you can always count on. For me, he's been there (his music has been there) when life was at its worst and at its best. You can say this about a lot of artists but usually you are talking about one or two albums at the most. With Prince, I've lost track of the number of listenable songs or albums he's made. Seeing him in concert is like icing on the cake. Prince isn't my life but I do feel as though my life would have been slightly less enjoyable without his music. So when someone seems obsessed, these may be some of the reasons. Or they could be just mine.

Just look around your room. Is there something with Prince in every nook and cranny? Boots, mags, mixed cd-r's, lp's and videos laying all over the place? We know who we are. And you guys go easy on Gold 319.

As for me, he's a big part of my life as his music has gotten me through some rough times as recently as a couple of months ago. I've spent a couple of years not being able to listen to any of his music before (long story) and in the end I'm glad that happened because it made me more appreciative of his work when I was able to hear it again. That's why taking a break from the music can be a good thing sometimes but I'm glad it's there when I want to play it. I hope that makes sense.
