I was shopping at the record store the other day and they had a copy of the Symbol album without the big gold symbol on the front. I have seen this picture before, but I thought it was inside the cd in the booklet? Why isn't the symbol there?

They just broke the front..for sure...and replaced it for a regular one

it could just be that they're not embossing the jewel cases with the gold symbol logo anymore...kind of a cheesy decision since it's otherwise a pretty weak album cover, but i wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah I was confused, because if you do a google image search, only about half of the photos of the front of the cd have the symbol on it also. So I don't think the front was broke, maybe Anxiety is right... Also didn't know that the symbol was on the front of the case and not the booklet, or know that the cd was ever reissued.

I remember stagging the Gold Case with the Purple Symbol on it the day they came out.. The regular one looks shitty.

Mine is a gold cover with a dark purple symbol.

When you take the insert out, the normal cheesy album cover is inside of it.

If you get the Symbol album now the symbol is on the cd booklet cover. I remember getting the special edition of this back in the day and was so disappointed nothing else came in it. I was 16.

that was the Album that made me go get my symbol tattoo.
I think its an alright album,i dont understand why everyone hates it.
