Maybe Prince is where Hendrix would have been. This might seem dumb but they say when Hendrix died he wanted to get away from his older image and play more spiritual stuff.
Prince has had superstar success and he went though it well and now he is on another page musically.

He was headed 4 bigger and better & different things with his music~ We can only wonder the many ways he could have gone as he would still B blowing everyones mind with his amazing "ahead of times & one of akind playing". He didn't want 2 B known 4 the guitar burning wildman everyone kept hearing about....He grew tired and wanted 2 do his thang...ala Prince these days. The many people who he could have worked with along the way...Miles Sly, Marley, Prince....and many many more....Thats why people should really feel happy that Prince didn't short change his fans & loved ones by dying B4 his time. Just think about that....
