But his whole comment about MJ wasn't gonna say "your butt is mine" to Prince/  nor would he say it to MJ seems homophobic to me...

surely prince wasn't saying no because of this allegedly, 'gay' reason?
i, too, had assumed from the interview that it was about status, and not losing face. so what prince was saying was basically, "neither one of us was ever going to accept that the other one could say, 'your butt is mine' to him, because it would be losing face for two of the biggest artists in music at the time." surely! there's nothing 'gay' in the "your butt is mine" line. that's just poop. | |
