Is this any good? I was thinking about buying a copy on eBay.

Yes, buy it... I thought it was pretty cool... a bit of an anti climax at the ending (not that it was bad, just could of been better), but yea, guess it's about the WHOLE experience

The woman's voice on the cd however is quite irritating.. but that may just be me

But yea, it's definitely worth the buy. I bought it when I was about 15/16... I didn't even have a computer at the time ...

Although it could have been better, it is very impressive, especially for it's time. I enjoy having it.

A couple of things:

Did you know that it set the record for largest number of CD-ROMS EVER pre-ordered, at the time? I know it was a new technology then, but still pretty cool.

Also it was on all the Top Ten selling CD-ROM lists at the time, competing directly with Windows 3.X CD-ROMS. (Note, this was at the time when buying software on floppy disks was still the common thing.

The biggest letdown on the CD, is the interviews with Miles Davis and Eric Clapton. I was expecting something wayyy better, but they both had about a 5 second statement, and Miles didn't even put together a whole sentence.

I first bought this cd in a "three-pack" of cds from the grocery store. There was Prince, a space game, and a street names cd.

I later bought it on ebay for ten bucks.

is the interactic track different from the Crystal ball version ?

4 the collector, it's a must have!

Overall, not a bad "game" either, and u learn a little trivia 'bout the P-Man ,and no, I don't mean Pac Man!

The videos r cool and the background music fits the mood.

So...back 2 the question. Is it any good? Yeah. Get It!

Yeah its a very good first effort from Prince. I still need 2 crack the vaul. But if U can get a copy...its worth it~

It's worth 10 bucks, that's what I say. No more than $10, but it's worth it for that.

You should get it, but you shouldn't pay too much for it.

ITS A BIT DUFF REALLY - LIKE A COMPUTER GAME BUT WITH NO GAME...AND WHEN YOU FINISH IT YOU THINK "IS THAT IT???". BUT!!!!! YOU CAN COPY ALL THE VIDS TO YOUR HARD DRIVE AND WATCH THEM WHENEVER YOU WANT.
