most Prince songs are timeless...but list the ones that just scream out 80's or 90's

As much as I hate it, Marrying Kind will soon be too dated to sing aloud around people.

I made up an ecletic mix of Prince songs and had MK on it, but when it got to that Missy line, it just ruined the mood. Missy doesn't deserved to be preserved for posterity on a Prince song. Such bullshit.

I wish he would just stop using pop culture shout-outs.

America could be seem dated cause communism is not the threat it once was ... but it still exists ... so I think the song will hold out just fine.

As long as a song is cool, the dated lyrics don't really matter to me.

But mentioning Missy in a song is just not cool.

Mellow...with the Macy and common refrence...otherwise it would be extremely difficult to date for someone like 20 years from now...

Any of the songs from the 1990s with hip hop slang in them. If hip hop ever goes out of style, and I hope it does, terms like "diss" and "def" are going to sound just as rediculous as "jive turkey".
Andy is a four letter word.
