Anyone own the Loius Lanes version?

I prefer theres. I like the fuller production. Plus their voices are sexy. Both are great jams though.

That would be such a great option for the npgmc,
to release these songs he's written for others..

Just release Prince's versions. They're already
well known, so it would be like an alternate HITS
package.

If not in stores, it would be great to at least
have them through the npgmc.

I forgot about both songs until yesterday. Lois lanes album is pretty ropey. But "qualified" is classic old Prince. I like the funky drums.

but it doesn't have those real Hits on it.

Definitely Prince's version, i love those electrofunk beat being repeated over and over, combined with those camille-type of voice and dig those sound-effects also (one lover sex, duuuum, two lovers dead, duuuuum)

Lois Lanes version is watered down funky pop, nothing special, Princes version is way better

i bought the lois lane cd cheap just for the big sticker that said it had a version of Sex on it...after one listen, it immediately went to that sacred pile of shitty cd's that i buy just because I see the word "Prince" on it

Yeah , i recently saw them on tv
They said they didn't really like those P songs they recorded
and that if P wants them to record another of his songs
they want it to be like ""Manic Monday" or something ;
more like the rest of their music
But i don't think that'll ever happen
