Shoo-bed-ooh OMG I listened to this song recently and I take back anything bad I ever said about it. It really is a good song! When I lisined to the lyrics it really connected with me. I'm not sure how but it did I can't really explain it but I felt like he was singing to me in a way. Even though I really don't understand what he is trying to say. What is your interpretaion of the lyrics? | |

? Kind of gibberish nonsense to me. Being profound by conjuring up a babble of deep words doesn't cut it for me 
Song is ok. Not the best on the album though. Kind of a love/hate thing on the chrous. U either love it or find it annoying. Iam the latter. | |

Hmmm..fair but I don't know I really like the music expecially in the chorus...in some ways the lyrics remind me of my best friend and half of the lyrics remind me of me.
My girlfriend is looking for love in all the wrong places and is pretty promiscous (not that I really get down on her for that after all she is a young attractive woman) but that comes at a price and she does get hurt alot and used by men. That part when he says "Spitting out the aftertaste of a boy who might never call..." "So you thought he just might come everytime you phone..as if you never been lonley as if you never been alone how you ever goona win if you let them all see your hand.." OMG I though of my friend so much. And me I totally identified with "..you wonder outloud if your happy you say yeah as if your really are.." and "but this is the game that you stood in line for how you gonna win.." "So you thought you just might lose your head today.." Prince how could I ever stay mad at you when you write mind blowing shit like this!!!!!  | |

All I know is, when I listen 2 this song in my car, and  sings the line:
"This car u drive with no gas won't get u very far", I can't help looking at my gas gauge. It's amazing how his lyrics can get u thru the day! Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful | |
