Gett Off - recorded this day, 1991 Gett Off (the original, near-10 minute version) was recorded May 10, 1991. Soon after, an EP was printed up, with Horny Pony / Money Don't Matter 2 Night / Cream (alternate version) / Gett Off.

I remember the first time I heard it was on Radio 1 (UK).
I was washing my car at the time! Now everytime I hear it I have to reach for the sponge... Happy Birthday Gett Off. May you live a long & happy life. | |

The first time I heard Gett Off was when they played the video on Entertainment Tonight. I remember my dad hating it!
It really IS one of those Prince songs that doesn't sound like anything else . . . |

This is one of those songs that I really didn't like when I first heard it. But of course seeing the video's and ext versions it grew on me. Very original!! "

The first version I heard of Gett Off was the Housestyle version with Rose Gaines doing the scatting. I liked it alot. It was different. | |
