Yes, I believe all 9 of my teachers, student body and the school staff know this by now. My portrait of him I drew in art class, my locker, and the CD's I listen to in my class breaks are also dead give-aways. They call me "Purple Rain Girl" and "::make 5 kissing noises:: Kiss" for they think those were Prince's only songs. Oh if they only knew of more of this man's hits

People always tell me they think of me when they hear his music or see him somewhere. I think its cute. I adore the man!

Yeah, definitely everyone i know always ask me when he puts out a cd what i think about it. When he tours how many times are you going to see him.

Its funny 2 me when ppl end up arguing about a Prince fact and than when the person doesnt believe whatever they say theyre like go ask her she'll tell u,lol like im some kind of Prince fact book

Man, EVERYONE knows that I'm a Prince fan. I'm sure that if they don't know anything about me, they all know that I'm down with "purplefunk" as some of my friends have called me. Whenever they hear something about Prince, they come to me with the info and most of the time, I already know what's up. One person at work played "Call My Name" from his cell phone for me and I didn't know that he knew I was a Prince fan. He told me that everyone knew I was a fan. It's all fun for me.

Not everyone knows because I don't wear t-shirts or display pictures or graphics that make it obvious nor do I play his music at work. But I've had great conversations about Prince with people who are knowledgeable about music. I'm sure they think I must have sublimated a sexual interest in Prince to be so freaking obsessed with the guy (little do they know how sane I am compared to most of you!)

Those who know use Prince as a conversation starter from time to time. Living in Toronto, there was a lot of interest in the fact he bought an house here. Curiously, I haven't talked about Prince much in 2004 at work despite all the exposure. I'm sure some of my colleagues were shocked I didn't say anything about the Grammies and other events of that type. I used to like discussing his music, especially after I listened to all the outtakes and some classic boots, but since last year I feel it's redundant to say anything.

Everybody in my family and at my job know I'm a Prince fan. I've hipped so many of my young family members and co-workers to his work it ain't even funny. Everytime a Prince song comes on they look at me to see if I'll sing the lyrics which I do most of the time.

My friends,family, and possibly the people in the apartment next door know but there's nothing about me that would give it away. My family is constantly ribbing me about him after all of these years and my sister's cell phone plays "Call My Name" when I call. I always tease her about her birthday being on June 7th. My oldest brother appreciates him-- he grew up in the 80's with me-- but the youngest aren't sold.
I don't play a lot of music so they don't hear him too often for those few weeks out of the year when I'm home. It did't help that I wrapped a picture of Prince-- the large shot of his face from ONA-- in a box and gave it to my youngest brother for Christmas. We all got a good laugh out of it though (and yes I gave him a real gift).

For years now! Even the kids (middle school) I teach know! For those of you who get the "Are you still into Prince?" question, have you noticed that when the jokers ask now, it's usually because they really want to know something? When they laughed at me through the "symbol" years, I just smiled a knowing smile. Look where we are now!!
(I have to tell folks, though, that I don't compare to some of you guys! )

I might have told a few people at work about how Prince is my husband and he just does not know it.

Pretty much everyone knows I like him - sometimes without me even having to say it. All my mates sorta go when anything Prince is mentioned or he's on the tv/radio but - like andykeen says - as soon as they think they have a 'scoop', they're more than happy to tell me the 'news'.

If I meet someone new and the usual 'What kind of music do you like?' question comes up, you can guarantee there'll be a chorus of 'PRINCE!' in the background.
