Shhh is definitely one of, if not my favorite Prince song. It combines the best of rock, r&b, and extreme HAWTNESS. I would get it on to this song ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! (Twice on Thursday's)  | |

This song is brilliant and HOT.

This song is the bomb! I remember when I first heard Tevin Campbell's version, and I thought to myself, 'thank God, Prince didn't do this song, 'cause I couldn't take it!' Well, one night, standing around with friends in Glam Slam LA, Prince dropped in to play a little unreleased stuff for the crowd. It was a snippet from The Beautiful Experience. First there was The Jam, which I loved, because I am one of the few Larry Graham fans on this site (and I mean, waaaaay before he started playing with Prince!). Well, then the song kicked off into Shhhhh.....and my mouth fell open. I tried to leave the room (seriously!), but my play brother grabbed me and held me on the dance floor until it was over.....and I was a puddle on the floor. I was thrilled to see that this track was a part of the Gold Experience. When I play that song, I can't do anything else.....just listen. No conversation, no typing, no work.....just listen. Kudos to Da Man for Shhhhh. Ro

Shhh is by far the best song on the Gold Experience in my humble personal opinion. I loved hearing Prince perform it live during the Musicology tour. It is a sexy song full of sophistication. | |

I'm so glad to see that Dolphin won the survivor it really is the best song on the album and the one that's standing the test of time best lookin back 10 years now. I didn't vote for Shhh, but I'm not mad that it won. It was a very tough choice because I love both Shhh and I Hate U. And hearing Shhh live last year brought back why the song is so kick ass. I missed the game but I am glad that Shh! won.
like I have said before, to hear that awesome intro is amazing. What is mindblowing is that Prince heard it in his head before a single instrument played one note!  We are not worthy!!

Dolphin reminds me of Tera, my girlfriend back then, when we were breaking up in Nov. 1994, when the video came out, and Prince was on the David Letterman show singing Dolphin. It's a beautiful song.
