Sorry guys. This site crashed right when I pushed submit, although for some reason my text is missing, and I initially had a thumbs down.
No offense to Prince, but what I was trying to say was that semirap-studiodriven-plastic-guitar on top works that seem cut out for the listener who only appreciates Lets Go Crazy should be shelved. Satisfied is a great and Glass Cutter sure as heck don't fit in. You know, same thing with Sexy MF (which was gutsier, but not by much), Get Off, etc. These songs all have that vibe, but Prince is a bad rapper. Why PRince??? Why?? Housequake is an exception. There Prince is talking sassy and shit. There is no real attempt at serious rap. Also the black album. But P cant rap like that pop rap style. So there! | |
