Especially since it was a single...with balls on the pic sleeve... ya know..i still havent recieved a definitive answer on copyright rules... now i know you need permission to use the original work for a commercial. and i think you even need permission to use a cover of a song by another artist (for commercial purposes)... but, do you need authorization to cover a song and release it? or is that covered under parody rights? anyone anyone? Pansy has some great tunes. Ring Of Joy is hilarious. I haven't heard Jack U Off though. I might have to get Pileup. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
