They can be taught! I was just IM'ing with my friend's 14 year old son and this is what transpired!
Him [7:24 PM]: uh huh Him [7:26 PM]: she goin to need a shoulder to cry on..... Him[7:26 PM]: o prince can sing Me [7:26 PM]: YES!!!! YES he can! Me [7:27 PM]: Are you listening to Musicology? Him [7:27 PM]: hold on im goin to go check on the kids Him [7:27 PM]: yeah Two things to note: He is a typical, sullen, nothing adults say is right, 14 year old AND I aksed him to "please" listen to PR and Musicology (to start) because he could not understand my facsination. I think he is coming around (for how long...?)! I am so excited  ! (I didn't think anyone/thing could get his interest right now...but he's talking about P! Go figger!)

P may never replace G-Unit in his eyes...but... I know how U feel, my niece whose 13 and soon to be 14 got into When Doves Cry. Made me wanna cry. I ended up buying her the PR movie. Drove around for a couple of hours tho'. Now not only do I have her but I also got her mom into P, but then her mom was there with me at the beginning (1978 or 79). There are some songs I WON'T let her listen to, but her mom takes care of that. PCEBWLD.  "I don't make the rules. I just play" | |
