Prince sure knows how to throw a party!! Imagine you are playing guitar in Prince's living room and who's that?.... Stevie Wonder sitting in to jam with ya. And wait.... Herbie Hancock wants to get some... and hold up... Prince is throwin' down the funk. Yes, Maceo Parker guitarist Bruno Speight stopped by the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley & Gi Dussault" radio show on WVOF recently and related this exciting jam session at Prince's 3121 that he participated in.
Bruno Speight is one of the top guitarists on this planet and has held down the lead guitar spot with the S.O.S. and currently with Maceo Parker. Speight talks about touring with Maceo Parker and the Maceo album "School's In", recording with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and the SOS Band when Jimmy and Terry missed that infamous flight to a Time/Prince show, and playing at the recent 3121 parties Prince has hosted. The interview airs on the 24 hour "Upper Room" broadcast now until Monday April 11th at www.upperroomwithjoekelley.com. Minneapolis Music Month in March on the
