I cant look inside the guys brain, but at that time Vanity was probably the idea of the ideal women for him (or he did just project his thoughts on her), a sex doll with big breasts, ready to be 'used'.... I mean, Susannah Melvoin seemed like a better choice to me, a natural beauty, a classy lady, not a playboy-model, but a good looking, independent women, with a strong mind...Listen to 'Sign of the Times', and you hear a matured, more thoughtfull fellow, speaking about love and intimacy, instead of some sex-crazed guy seeing women as some sex-object... After that, Mayte seemed like a (too) young doll for me, which Prince could easily manipulate. Manuella Testiloni seems more intelligent, thoughtfull, not the stereotypical sex-doll, and (apart from the jehovah weirdness) seems to have a positive effect on him | |
