What a treat, I just saw this on Classic VH1. I don't remember ever seeing it when it came out. Personally, it looks like one of Prince's better clips to me. That being said, I hated the edit of the song. I missed the "wrap my legs all around you" lyric, and the moaning that sounds like Kim Basinger is blowing him.

Don't think D'Angelo hadn't seen this before making "How does it Feel?"

And D'Angelo knew he had to up the ante by being filmed just above the first millimeter of pubes or butt cleavage. What I love about the Prince video is that his jumpsuit is so simple, yet he looks so amazing in it. I guess great tailoring beats pecs & abs sometimes.

Is "Classic VH1" a show or something? When do they show all these vids? I keep hearing about them but never see them.

It's a channel. They have all sorts of shows dedicated to videos from the late 80s on back.
