Prince on "The Young And The Restless"

APRIL FOOLS - HA HA...

OK seriously, I don't know how many people out there watch the show, but they've had some interesting guest stars over the years (Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson) and I just think it would be really cool if P were 2 make an appearance on the show. It's funny, when he was performing at the NAACP Awards, they showed Victoria Rowell (who plays Druscilla on the show) and Tonya Lee Williams (who plays Olivia) in the audience jamming 2 his performance. Not 2 mention Lisa Canning, who interviewed P when she was an anchor on Entertainment Tonight, is now on the show herself as Adrienne. So there are some connections here, in a way.

OK, u all can laugh now! Or if anyone seriously thinks this would be cool, let me hear ya!

prince's "musicology" really was on nbc's passions. for real. i cracked up when i realized, since prince owns that master, that he had to actually allow them to play one of his songs on a soap. and, of all the soaps for prince to put his music on, he chooses the one that has a witch and a woman who is pregnant with her brother's child!?! confuse someone doesn't do their research before accepting a check. lol

Backinaday in college I remember "General Hospital" had a scene at a party and one of the femme characters got drunk, then the DJ played "Six" and she started doing her "thing."

I fell out laughing.

After Prince's New Year's Eve 1999 pay per view concert, Guiding Light played "Baby Knows" on the jukebox in the diner that Buzz owned. They probably thought it was going to become a big hit .... especially since the pay per view performance was really good.

I thought it was going to be a big hit too.
oh well

you thought that was good?!? i can say, hands down, it was the worst prince concert i've ever been to (excluding a few after shows from recent times).

well...to each their own i suppose.

Usher became a main character on "The Bold and the Beautiful" there for a while a few years back.

I thought the concert as a whole was lacking -- Lenny brought more electricity to the stage than Prince. But I hadn't purchased Rave at the time(it just seemed like a silly phase for him with the coolio hair and rapper collabos. I was repulsed).

So, the concert was my intro to the new songs. Baby Knows, to me, was the BEST part of that show. I was screaming. I thought it was raw, sexy, and I liked the guitar. It seemed like quintessential Prince.

I ran out the next day and bought the album. Soley because of Baby Knows. And ignoring the collaborations, it turned out to be a fulfilling album.
