remember that that was just a demo too
that version will probably be shelved for something more commercial. imo.  Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I don't really think Glass Cutter was a demo - I reckon it will stay as it is.
By the time the next album comes out, we will probably have heard half of it - we've already heard Glass Cutter and Satisfaction, and he's played the song 3121 at some of his private parties apparently. He did this with the Musicology album, Reflection and What Do U Want Me 2 Do? were up for download way before the album came out, and he played On The Couch and Life O The Party in concert (in Australia), and Musicology over various PA's, well before the album release. Well, it's definately a song, because there were reports of it being played at his private parties and some of the lyrics were quoted. Prince tends to always have a song title the same name as the album, so it's not a far stretch to surmise that might be the name of the new album, especially since he's been advertising it with the number written on the back of his clothes at his recent NAACP awards performance. I mean, it could be something else as well, like a movie, but I doubt it. | |

Man! I love Glass Cutter so much its been gettin some heavy rotation on my Mp3 player.
Its just so funky and fun. Please Prince give us mo guitar heavy, bass slappin horn-free jams like this!
