I read that book. It also said Prince kept his privacy, even from his band members. It does mention a homophobic rant between Prince and Larry Graham though.

Yeah. One of the Revolution members went to see Prince about a possible reunion of the Revolution. Prince and Larry were saying there would never be a reunion until Wendy and Lisa public apologize and renounce their homosexuality.

If someone here attended the Rainbow Children discussions at Paisley Park during the second Celebration, perhaps they can remind us of an incident there.

If I remember the reports correctly, Didn't Larry Graham make a disparaging remark about homosexuality and Prince stood by silently saying nothing.

I seem to remember posters complaining that Prince should have spoken up, countered Larry's views, or at least said where he stood on the matter.

At the time, I was very disappointed to hear that Prince was silent; I mean he made a reputation for himself of being a rude boy who from an idealistic Uptown searching for the non-judgemental Paisely Park.

I think there was a phase during the Larry Graham days when Prince felt he couldn't endorse homosexuality for religious reasons. Prince has said himself that he's a follower not a leader and sadly I've seen him easily influenced over the years in ways I never would have believed.

But it appears that some distance has emerged between Graham and Prince; hopefully he's not critical of homosexuality now.

I don't believe Prince is really homophobic at all. The man wears make up. His music is about freedom. Excepting people. He just has a weird sick sense of humor. He's not an angel, he's also not an evil guy.

Prince is not gay.

Even though Prince has expressed himself in the gayest fashions of the world, I don't think he's a homosexual.

He just doesn't give off that vibe. Could you imagine him with a dude? I always see him with a fine woman.

Any straight man can look gay, but being gay is a whole different thing.

It's strange to say but Prince is the ungayest man in the world.
