Ubelievable - some people just don't get him do they. Purple is the purest colour in the church and rain is the purest water. Spiritual cleansing. The song is not about another person, it is Prince as the third person singing to God. Well that is my take on it anyway. as to the topic of this thread. Yellow is the centre of all things in the colour spectrum, look at a daisy, the petals are white but the centre is yellow. To be centred is focused and balanced. Slightly to the left or right of yellow and you get orange or green. am I making sense. I have my beliefs and understandings but putting them into words is hard. In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream | |

Huh??? What do you mean? Purple is in the church? ANd what do you mean it's the purest? . The song is not about another person, it is Prince as the third person singing to God.
Prince is telling God he wants to "Guide him to the purple rain" and to "See him bathing in it"? Wouldn't it make mor sense for God to be singing to the people or to P? Well that is my take on it anyway. as to the topic of this thread.  |
