Before you know it you are back to typing "to" instead of "2" too. I have about 3000 Prince songs, so that is why I like to mix his music up with other artists... How u get all of them? Through friends? Sumtimes. Being a fan for 20 years helps too. Ever since I got a computer I have been collecting MP3's. Internet makes it SO easy. And indeed. I am not afraid to share MY stuff and that makes sure people also send ME stuff... I once joined a Prince collecting site (I will NOT give directions), but I hardly come there, cuz once online I had to download EVERUTHING. ANd my computer drives are a bit maxed out. I need an extra drive.... And it is great that once you find out about a song you can call on your friends and see if they have it. Like I did with one version of An Honest Man I missed; two very sweet Orgers helped me out there. I miss my evenings out in Paris with Darren, another Orger I hardly speak to these days cuz we both moved from Paris. Silly of me for not keeping in contact...sorry Darren. Anyways, we used to hang in bars and talk, talk, talk about Prince music. Like I these dasy do with Dawntreader, when he finds the time to come over, hehehe. BOth he and Fhunkin never mind sitting behind the computer, watching my latest Prince pics and latest Prince music.... |
