how do you know what the suits are telling him? how about the new song he released LAST WEEK? ok, just a snippet, but its still "new", what about glass cutter? christ even san jose jam! he just posted about 4 albums up on the download store. you might have them all, but hundreds of thousands dont'

yeah, it does seem like he's retiring, what we overhauling his website, adding a bunch of material, debuting a new song live. having a new song as the main clip on the website.

keeping up in the dark??? since when has prince NOT done this. fuck, lets face it, this is a good thing. if he told us every plan that popped into his head we'd go nuts as 99% of it would never be released!

Butcherdog says that Prince Beef with Warners was not soley because he wanted to release a million records a year. It was all to do with control. Prince wanted to have the power to do what he liked when he liked with his own creations. His freedom from said record company allowed him to release as much or as little as he desires. At the moment, he desires to release a small amount through his NPGMC. As little Richard once said - "A little bit of something beats a whole lotta nothing". Prince will hit you with something when he's ready to release it.

i think he's probably just resting having come off that ball busting tour. he looks good and everything, but he's still closer to 50 than 25.
